Menu Plan Monday: Sept. 27 – Oct. 3

Another week, another menu! We normally shop at Sobeys for the airmiles but there were some really good deals on at Superstore so we decided to do our shopping there this week. We’ve all had a lingering cold which hasn’t been very fun, especially with the baby. My mom always said that you can’t be sick when you’re a mom, and now I definitely understand what she meant… you can’t just crawl into bed and sleep when you feel like crap. Anyway, at least we’ve been eating pretty good lately. It definitely pays to have a meal plan when your not feeling well, you don’t have any decisions to make or last minute trips to the grocery store to take!

Monday: Canned beans and grilled cheese (pathetic, I know, but Tim took the leftovers to work and I don’t really feel like making a proper meal just for me)

Tuesday: Grammy’s Fish Chowder with Easy Homemade Cheese Bread

Wednesday: Italian Sausage and Potato Roast

Thursday: Homemade Pizza (with this crust)

Friday: Thai Chicken Pasta

Saturday: Leftovers (if none than something simple like tuna melts)

Sunday: Slow cooker Pot Roast with root veggies
