Merry Christmas from the land of Oz!
We had a lovely day, much better than last year in that it felt much more like Christmas. We were up early (which is normal) and opened some pressies before brekky. We just had our usual, cereal and milk, and then back to pressies and skype. We kept it pretty simple this year, as usual, as we like to not detract from the reason we celebrate…which is not a million expensive gifts and more debt. Most of the gifts for the girls were from an op shop (thrift store): puzzles, books, an elephant costume for Eden and a few small toys. The girls also got new, matching rashies. Tim and I did each others stockings with an agreed-upon price range, give or take a bit. Tim pretty much got me everything that I wanted and then some! He’s awesome
We went to the beach for a bit, but got there later than we wanted to so it was already close to 40 degrees Celsius. We didn’t stay too long. Came home and had a “brunch” at lunch time consisting of french toast and fruit salad. We then had a lovely Christmas meal with some friends and a swim in their pool. Over all it was a great Christmas day, full of fun and family time
